Life Magazine

Objective

The project required choosing a brand that was dead, dying or defunct, and rebranding it to give it a new life. The new directions are based on the company's original essence but take the brand to a different category. Design a series of products, and activities with the new identity system.

 

Approach / Flavorful World

I chose to rebrand the life known for being a magazine brand. life was an American magazine that ran weekly from 1883 to 1936 as a humor magazine with limited circulation. The magazine's role in the history of photojournalism is considered its most important contribution to publishing.

The new life will not only change the way that people look at the world but also bring real life back by showing the actual world, the uncovered stories, and the ordinary heroes. The new life, it’s not about being a magazine. It’s about teaching, learning, and exploring.

Logo Concept / Breaking Out

Life inspires people to break out of their comfort zone and do something differently and see what happens. Life helps people to explore, learn and grow and gives people a productive life. Breaking out of your comfort zone is the pathway to growth.
